    My service feedback with Sales

    The sale of my house went through quickly; the documentation produced by Taylors was of good quality and they were willing to adjust photos, as necessary. They made sure that the right people visited the house for viewings and that I was informed all of the time of the responses. My main dealings with Taylors were with Luis Tindale and I rate him highly. We got into some very tricky water with the conveyancing solicitors; Countrywide and he was able to keep communication lines open. On this matter of using Estate Agent recommended solicitors; just be sure that you are confident that they will provide you with the personal service that you need when selling a house. Having said that Mary Lord from Countrywide was superb once she had been given my case.

    Would not use again

    A friendly, efficient, respectful and genuine service with a personal touch

    I felt that everyone I dealt with had a genuine interest in helping me sell my home with the least possible stress. The team were also very approachable, which made it easy for me to pop into the local branch for advice. I was kept, up to the minute, well informed about the sale process. They were also enthusiastic and supportive when I found a property to buy. I can't believe the whole selling and buying process went so well and fast. I would definitely reccommend Talors and use them myself if I need to in the future.

    Huge differences in staff customer service

    Some of the staff need to improve on their interactions with customers. One member of staff in particular was quite abrupt, impatient and rude at times. On the flipside, one staff member was exemplary and a pleasure to speak to.

    Overall, best avoided.

    Sadly, the overall experience was painful. It took ages for Taylors to list the property - resulting in us missing it being listed over the Easter Bank Holiday period. I chased on numerous occasions to find out the status. When it was eventually listed, no room sizes were included and the very large master bedroom did not have a picture. The personnel changed, including the branch manager, which did improve things greatly. They accepted that a poor service had been provided and that Taylors had valued the property too high. Once the sale was completed I received a chase for their outstanding fees - these fees were deducted by our solicitor at the point of sale, the funds being sent to Taylors immediately. Overall, best avoided.
